What is PTE?
PTE is computer-based test, it evaluates a test taker’s English ability in
Speaking, Writing, Reading & Listening. More importantly, It is scored by Artificial Intelligence (AI) which means your English language skills are assessed by an algorithm that mimics how human markers would score, based on a substantial number of responses& samples.
How long does it take to get the results?
PTE offers all test takers incredible flexibility. Test taker results are typically released within just 1-5 working days. In some cases, the
results come out in just One or Two hours after you finished your exam. That’s LIGHTNING-FAST compared to any other English exams.
Is PTE recognized as an International Exam?
PTE is accepted for student and migration applications across the world. In addition to its unbiased approach to testing,
the test has many unique advantages. It is one of the most popular exams in Australia, New Zealand & UK for migration and study purposes. It is also widely accepted by many schools and universities across the Globe like Harvard, Yale and INSEAD.
Is it essential to speak in a native English accent so that the PTE AI can
understand me?
This is totally NOT TRUE. PTE exam grading software is designed to
understand different English accents. Test takers should speak as natural as possible. Just make sure you speak with an appropriate voice (or trained by PTE trainers) to ensure your voice is compatible with PTE machine
Should I speak fast to be fluent?
Yes, but you could probably lose your coherence. Placing too much emphasis on maintaining a fast pace can have an impact on your content score which will result in lower overall score.
